大眾一般認為垃圾丟進回收桶，就已經盡了保護環境的一分力。但大多數人都不知道，當不可回收的物料（如塑膠袋或液體）進入回收流程，同樣會加劇海洋、空氣、土壤和食物鏈的塑膠污染問題。正視這個問題的其中一個關鍵方法，就是培養正確分類塑膠廢物的概念。
透過製作七色「塑」食怪，小朋友將培養正確分類塑膠廢物的概念，反思日常生活習慣，培養回收習慣，提升減塑意識。
