Where does inspiration come from? Have you ever been sparked by a sound, a scent, a touch, or a simple movement that flipped a creative switch in your mind? At the Creative Power Plant, we believe that everyone possesses a unique inspiration circuit—and our senses are the energy that powers it.
This year’s Creative Summer Festival, PMQ Seed co-curates with AaaM Architects, in collaboration with five local creative partners. The festival brings together over 300 Primary 4 to 6 students as “Power Buddies”, with 46 school-based teams. During “Pre-Festival Workshop”in early July, participants explored the seven senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste, proprioception, and the vestibular sense. Guided by design thinking, they have created a total of 54 highly interactive “Inspiration Generators” with experience games or experience focusing on different senses.
“Creative Summer Festival” starts on August 9th, PMQ is going to transform into the “Creative Power Plant”. Alongside the power plant, PMQ Seed also hosts more than 10 creative activities, inviting visitors of all ages to embark on a sensory-driven journey of creation. We believe true creative energy is sparked by memories, curiosity and a perceptive mind. Every sensation, every response, is a moment of inspiration.
