The venue design for this year’s Creative Festival was inspired by classic ballad "Over The Rainbow", from the musical The Wizard of Oz. In the original story, protagonist Dorothy felt trapped in her small-town life and yearned for a colourful adventure beyond the rainbow— much like kids stuck at home today due to the pandemic.
In response, our curatorial team is bringing a fantasy village to PMQ, designed as seven color-coded play zones. Each zone features a game designed with a specific skill in mind, namely Observation, Negotiation, Trust, Communication, Co-Creation, Listening, and Teamwork. It's only through collaborative effort that kids can combine all seven colours from the rainbow to create dazzling light. Each game requires two or more participants. Team up with family and friends this summer to begin an unforgettable adventure in this peculiar world over the rainbow!
